The purpose of the Golf Club of Notre Dame is to provide undergraduates of Notre Dame, St. Mary’s and Holy Cross the opportunity to play golf on a regular basis in an organized and fun environment. Founded in 2012, members can choose whether to join in order to compete to represent the club team in the Regional and National Tournaments hosted by the National Collegiate Club Golf Association or just to play for fun, improve their game and enjoy the game of golf. In addition to the weekly rounds of stroke play golf at the Warren Golf Course, there will be a wide variety of golfing events to take part in throughout the semester. Events range from scrambles, two man team tournaments, best ball tournaments and our Club Championship at the end of each semester. The layout of the club will provide a competitive “league” atmosphere for more experienced golfers and a more relaxed and recreational atmosphere for beginner or laidback golfers. Membership also comes with many benefits, including price discounts at the Warren for greens fees and club apparel. The club gives more experienced golfers a chance to compete against other schools in the Midwest through the NCCGA, but also provides the opportunity for laidback or inexperienced golfers to just enjoy the game.
