Families
Notre Dame and RecSports recognize the importance of family recreation. Family hours are provided so parents and children can recreate together. We ask that parents supervise their children during these hours. Children under 18 are not permitted to use fitness equipment located throughout the facilities. Child friendly equipment is available. Essentially, families only have use of the facilities during designated Family Hours.
Adult Dependents
Employees, students or their spouses may request a RecSports Adult Dependent Card for adult children 18 years of age or older that are legal dependents. Children may not request cards on their own. Employees (or their spouse) must bring a valid Notre Dame ID and proof of dependency, e.g. a tax return or insurance card of their adult child, as well as proof of the child’s age. The dependent card allows adult children to use the facilities without a parent's supervision. However, Adult Dependents are required to pay the $3.00 fee for access to the Rockne Memorial and/or Rolfs Sports Recreation Center. Cards are available in the RecSports office located in the Rolfs Sports Recreation Center, Monday-Friday, 8am-Noon and 1-5pm.
Note: RecSports Adult Dependent Cards expire on September 1 of each year. New cards may be requested beginning August 15 using the process outlined above.
