Outdoor Facilities
In addition to its indoor facilities, the University offers many
excellent outdoor recreation areas. Members of the Notre Dame
community can readily find football, soccer, and sotball fields,
along with several basketball, tennis, and sand volleyball courts
located around campus. The addition of lights to some of these
areas has expanded the number of hours recreational groups can
use them. The campus is also blessed with St. Mary's and St. Joseph's
lakes which provide runners and walkers with peaceful scenic routes.
St. Joseph's lake also features a beachfront, complete with an
area for swimming and boat rentals.
