Spouses

Spouses of all Notre Dame faculty and staff can use all of the facilities, as well as register for classes, by presenting their Spouse ID caed issued by the Department of Human Resources. Spouses of all Notre Dame students, as well as employees of several Notre Dame auxiliary organizations and their spouses, are entitled to these cards. Obtaining this card is simple:

• In addition to providing a valid Notre Dame ID card, spouses must present proof of marriage, e.g., a marriage certificate or both names on a car registration, insurance card, or checkbook. Either the employee or the spouse may come to RecSports to request this card.
• Employees of the various Notre Dame auxiliary organizations must come in person, have a picture ID, and be listed on their organization's official list of eligible employees. Spouse's of these employees can follow the same steps as listed above for spouses of Notre Dame faculty, staff and students.
• Cards are available from the RecSports office, located in the Rolfs Sports Recreation Center. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon and 1:00-5:00 p.m.
• Note: RecSports Athletic Department User cards expire on September 1 of each year. New cards may be requested beginning August 15, using the same process outlined above.
