Registration Policy
Eligible users must enter their
own NetID and password in order to register for
fitness classes. According to University Policy,
network accounts, passwords, and other types of
authorization assigned to individual users must not
be shared.
Because spouses do not have
NetID’s, spouses must have the Notre Dame employee
or student with them to enter their NetID to
register whether it is in-person or online.

Payment Policy
Full payment must be made at the
time of registration. Eligible users may pay online
using Visa or MasterCard only. RecRegister will
accept both credit cards and debit cards as long as
they are Visa or MasterCard. Eligible users can also
pay by cash or check by registering at the front
desk of Rolfs Sports Recreation Center any time
after registration opens during normal facility
hours of operation.
Credit card information is
confidential and will not be stored at RecSports.
All credit card information is hidden to RecSports
employees.
If you join a waitlist, your
credit card will not be charged unless space becomes
available and you agree to join that class.

Waitlist Policy
A waitlist will automatically be
created once a class reaches capacity. Users will be
added to the waitlist in the order they are
received. If space becomes available, RecSports will
contact waitlisted participants, in the
order they joined the waitlist, to see if they are
still interested in joining the class.
Once a waitlisted participant is
contacted, they will have 24 hours to accept the
position in the class. Only after the waitlisted
participant has accepted the spot available in the
class will the participant be added to the class
roster and the credit card charged.
In order to be moved from the
waitlist to the class roster, participant’s must
either:
1. Have a credit card on file through RecRegister OR
2. Come into RSRC front desk and pay by cash or
check.

Refund Policy
In order to obtain a refund for a
fitness class, the class participant must fill out
and return the Refund Request Form to RecSports
offices by the deadline date listed on the form. The
general rule for refunds is:
Full Refund - through two weeks
after registration
Half Refunds – up to the mid-semester break
No Refund - starting the day of the mid-semester
break.
Exact dates can be verified on the
Refund Request Form.
Class participants can obtain a
refund in one of the following ways:
1. Pick up Refund Request
Form at RSRC front desk
2. Download the Refund Request Form from the RecSports website
The Refund Request Form may be
returned using the following methods:
1. Submit signed
and completed form to the RSRC front Desk.
2. Submit signed
and completed form via campus
mail to 100 RSRC.
Refunds will be reconciled
depending on the payment method. Credit card refunds
will be applied directly to the credit card used for
payment and issued immediately upon approval. Cash
and check refunds will be issued by University
check. Once the form is received, the refund check
will be sent (to the address listed on the form) in
approximately 2-3 weeks.

Paying by Credit
Card
1. Log onto the RecSports website
2. Click on RecRegister icon
3. Login to system using NetID and password. No
NetID? Click HERE.
4. Select desired class and “Enroll Now”
5. Enter participant’s personal information in each
required field
6. Enter credit card information
7. Select “Add Another Activity” if you would like to add
more classes or “Proceed to Checkout” if you are finished adding classes.
8. Review the order and click on “Submit
Registration” to finalize the order
9. Receive email confirmation

Paying by Cash or
Check
1. Go to Rolfs Sports Recreation
Center
2. Seek the assistance of a Front Desk employee.
3. Log onto the RecSports website
4. Click on RecRegister icon
5. Login to system using NetID and password. No
NetID? Click HERE.
6. Select desired class and “Enroll Now”
7. Enter participant’s personal information in each
required field
8. Select “Add Another Activity” if you would like to add
more classes or “Proceed to Checkout” if you are finished adding classes.
9. Front Desk employee will complete the registration.
10. Once RecSports employee has finished, review the
order and click on “Submit Registration” to finalize
the order
11. Pay for the class.
12. You will then receive a written receipt from the RecSports employee. You will also
receive an email confirmation

What to Expect
After Registration
You will receive an email confirmation highlighting:
a. the classes you were successfully registered for and
b. any classes for which you may have been waitlisted.
Be sure to have your ND id so you can gain access to the facility as well as your class. All class participants are required to sign the “Registration , Medical Consent, Waiver, Release and Indemnification Form for Classes

Immediate help:

Live Support:
RecSports will offer Live Support during the first day
of registration ONLY, beginning one half hour before
registration through noon.

What if I can’t
reach the NDRecRegister Webpage?
Should the RecRegister website be
unavailable for any reason, please check back after
a few minutes. If you are still unable to access the
page, please try a full restart of your computer. If
you are still having issues, write (RecRegister@nd.edu) or
call (574- 631-6100), Rolfs Sports Recreation
Center.
In the unlikely eventuality of a
persistent outage past noon on the first day of
registration, fitness class registrations will
revert to the paper registration method in which
participants must register at RSRC. An email will be
sent out and the website will inform users of the
change. Registration will start the next day at
7:30am on Court 1 of the RSRC.

Obtain a Spouse
Notre Dame ID Card
Spouses of Notre Dame employees or
students should get a spouse card that can be used
to gain access to RecSports facilities and to have
with them during classes. The process to obtain a
card is as follows:
Student Spouse
1. Go to the school in which the spouse is enrolled
(Law, Business, Grad,
Undergraduates should be directed to the Registrar’s
Office)
2. Create record in the system
3. Once record is created, visit Card Services
located in the South Dining Hall
4. Have an ID card printed for a $5 fee
Employee Spouse
1. Go to Human Resources
2. Have card printed for a $5 fee.
