Swim Assessment
All children aged 3.5-18 must be assessed by a RecSports Swim Instructor, the Aquatics Coordinator or the Aquatics Director.
RecSports hosts swim assessment nights once a semester, including the summer. The assessments will be run in conjunction with Family Programming allowing everyone to take the assessment and then participate in family water activities afterwards. Once the assessment has been completed, parents will be given a code for that particular level which is necessary for registration. The assessment only needs to be completed once as long as the child is enrolled in at least one session of swim lessons per year from the date of their initial assessment.
If you are unable to attend the sceduled assessment night, you can bring your child to Rockne Pool during any regular scheduled group swim lesson time. Make-up assessments will be done based on availability of instructors and waiting times will vary. Private assessments are not offered.
