Learn-to-Swim
RecSports is proud to support the Notre Dame community by providing quality swim lessons in a safe, friendly environment at a wide range of ability levels. We offer three categories of group swim lessons: Parent and Infant Aquatic Education, Pre-School Aged Aquatic Education, and School Aged Aquatic Education. To accomodate more restriciting schedules, RecSports also offers private swim lessons.
Learn-to-Swim is open to Notre Dame students, faculty, staff, retirees, and their families. As of summer 2013, RecSports swim lessons are available to the public.
Summer Lessons Schedule
Classes are offered every semester at Rockne Memorial Pool, including summer sessions. Please note that swim assessments are mandatory for first time registration of children 3 years and older. We hold a large swim assessment night prior to the first session registration date. If you are unable to make the swim assessment night, you can bring your child to any of our reguarly scheduled swim lessons to be assessed. Please see our Swim Assessment page for more information.

Registration
Registration for swim lessons can be completed online using your credit/debit card through RecRegister. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. We will only notify you if the class you register for has been closed or cancelled. We encourage you to register early due to small class size. Please make a note of the session and time. Cost is $30 for four lessons and $50 for eight lessons.
There is a class minimum that must be met in order to run the class. Classes will be cancelled or combined if the minimum number is not met. Refunds will only be given if we alter your request and you cannot make the change or the class is cancelled. RecSports reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment.
The Registration dates for summer 2013 swim lessons are as follows:
ND FACULTY/STAFF/STUDENTS will be able to register for all of the summer sessions beginning June 03 at 9:00am.
PUBLIC registration begins at 9:00am June 10 (Session 1 only), July 1 (Session 2 only), and July 15 (Session 3 only).
