Pom Pons

The mission of the Pom Squad is to increase Notre Dame spirit at athletic, campus, and community events. The squad performs at football pep rallies and game day sites, men’s and women’s basketball games, and campus activities such as Bookstore Basketball, ROTC Kids Field Day, O’Neill Mardi Gras, and the International Festival. Tryouts are held in April for the coming year.

Boxing

This year, more than 60 women challenged themselves physically and mentally as they learned the skills and found the will, strength, and heart to become boxers. Along the way, they also developed leadership skills as club officers, raised funds for the Missions in East Africa by staging the Baraka Bouts. A novice program is conducted in the early fall, followed by veteran season prior to the Baraka Bouts. All are welcome.

Running

The Women’s Running Club offers women runners of all levels the opportunity to run together and encourages friendship and team-like relationships among its members. The club promotes the physical, emotional, and social benefits of running and provides both advanced and beginning level runners with companionship, challenge, and competition. The club organizes weekly practice runs and participates in numerous road races both on and off campus, including the Domer Run, Holy Half Marathon, Mara Fox Run, and more.
