Interhall Volleyball

Entry Start Date: September 25, 2008
Entry Deadline: October 2, 2008
Cost: Entry Fee $20
Capt. Meeting: Tuesday, October 7, 7:00-7:30pm in the RSRC Meeting Room  

Activity: Interhall Volleyball (Men's & Women's).

Rules:
1. All team members must meet residency requirements. A minimum of four players is required to start a game, the maximum is 6 players.
2. A match is the best 2 of 3 games. Games are played to 15 points, must win by 2 points. 3rd game is rally scoring.

Eligibility: This sport is for interhall competition. All players must meet eligibility requirements. Every team must submit a roster and the roster is final after the first game begins.

Schedule: Times and days of play must be selected at the time of entry. Finalized schedules will be distributed at the captain’s meeting. Round Robin leagues with post season single elimination tournament. In tournament play you may not play at the same day or time as regular season.

Equipment: Both teams should bring a game ball and then the teams must agree on the ball that will be used.

Location: All games will be held in the Joyce Center.

Forfeits/Reschedules: If a team does not have the minimum amount of players at game time, that team will forfeit. No reschedules will be permitted in this sport. If a team cannot make a game, they may call Peter Shoop-Assistant Director of Intramurals 631-4437 at least 24 hours in advance of the game and request a default. A default results in a loss, but is not considered a forfeit.

Insurance Requirement: A team insurance from must be completed by all members of the team prior to the team’s first game. Any team member that does not complete the insurance waiver prior to the first game will be considered an ineligible player and not on that team’s roster.

A VALID UND INDENTIFICATION CARD IS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE.
