Golf Scramble Rules

RULES: 2 PERSON SCRAMBLE

1. Teams will consist of 2 players.
2. Each player will hit their own ball. Then, each team will decide which ball they want to play for their next shot. Next, each player will hit a ball from this location. The same is true for putting. Each player will hit the same identical putt until the ball finds the hole.
3. USGA rules apply during play. The only exception is that each player will hit from the same location under the scramble format.
4. Teams will compete in qualifying rounds. Teams surviving the cut will play in the Championship round.
5. The first round cut is half the teams and the second round cut will be down to the top four teams.
6. No supervisor provided

ELIGIBILITY: This sport is for interhall competition. All players must meet eligibility requirements. Every team must submit a roster and the roster is final after the first game begins.

SCHEDULE: 2 person teams will compete in qualifying rounds. Teams surviving the cut will advance to the next round. Date: TO BE DETERMINED Call golf course for tee time, 631-6425

EQUIPMENT: Each player must bring their own set of clubs with balls, tees, etc.

LOCATION: All games will be played at the Notre Dame 9-hole Golf Course.

FORFEITS/RESCHEDULES: If a team does not have the minimum amount of players at game time, that team will forfeit. No reschedules will be permitted in this sport. If a team cannot make a game, they may call Peter Shoop-Assistant Director of Intramurals 631-4437 at least 24 hours in advance of
the game and request a default. A default results in a loss, but is not considered a forfeit.

INSURANCE WAIVERS: Each team to participate in this event must complete a doubles insurance form. (Gold form)

A VALID UND INDENTIFICATION CARD IS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE
