Outdoor Adventures now offers trips for students to find adventure and challenge themselves while at school.  

Look forward to 6-8 trips a year lead by professional staff and experienced students.  Including activities such as backpacking, fishing, camping, white water rafting, and canoeing.

WHITE WATER RAFTING & ROCK CLIMBING

We travel to the New River Gorge in West Virginia to paddle some of the best white water in the world! We camp at a resort in Lansing, WV. We spend a full day rafting on Saturday and a half day rock climbing on Sunday. If you want to see what it's like first hand, check out our video!

FALL BREAK BACKPACKING TRIP

We head North to Michigan and travel along the beautiful Manistee River Trail for a few days of relaxing hiking and wonderful Fall colors. This is a very beginner level backpacking trip and is a great way to learn the basics of backpacking and camping. 

SKI & SNOWBOARDING DAY TRIP

Our skiing and snowboarding day trip leaves at 4:00 PM and returns at Midnight. We travel an hour by bus to Swiss Valley Ski Park in Jones, MI. This is a trip for those who want to learn, or have just learned, to ski and snowboard. The park is small, but is perfect for the beginner skier or snowboarder. The price includes travel and lift ticket. Rental is extra.

SKI & SNOWBOARD WEEKEND TRIP

Our weekend trip is for the avid skier or snowboarder. We head 5 hours North to Petoskey, MI for some of the best skiing Michigan has to offer, Nub's Nob! Nub's has 53 slopes, 248 acres, and 450 ft. of elevation change, which allows you to ski or snowboard making for an entire weekend of fun. We spend TWO FULL DAYS and two nights at Trout Creek Resort. The price includes travel, lodging, two-day lift ticket, and food.

 SPRING BREAK BACKPACKING

This Spring Break backpacking trip takes on a southern portion of the Appalachian Trail. We leave on Saturday and come back Sunday, spending a full week on the trail. There is quite a bit of elevation change and many miles of hiking, so this trip is sure to challenge you. There is no previous backpacking experience necessary, but good physical condition is essential. The price includes travel, equipment rental, and food for the week.
