Domer Run
Join us Saturday, Sept. 29 for the 2012 Domer Run. The race begins 9:00 AM at Legends, located on Notre Dame's campus.
About
The Domer Run is a fun run to benefit local cancer education and awareness programs. Participants can choose from a 6 mile run, 3 mile run, or a 2 mile family walk. The routes for all three courses are on Notre Dame’s campus, which allows partiipants to take in the beauty of campus while running. The two runs are open to participants age 13 and over. The family walk is open to all ages. Strollers and pets are welcome on the family walk only. Click to view last year's course map.
All pre-registered participants of the Domer Run receive a t-shirt and a complimentary awards breakfast after the run. Awards are given to the winners of each division of the race. There will also be a silent auction for all participants of the event.
Domer Run is a partnership between RecSports and the Alumni Association that began in 1997, which focused on raising money for local cancer awareness and education programs. Since its inception, the Domer Run has raised over $65,000 to educate the communities surrounding Notre Dame about various forms of cancer.
Registration
Registration begins online Tuesday, Aug. 20 via RecRegister and is open to the community. You may also register in person at the Rolfs Sports Recreation Center. Registration is $15 per person if you pre-register using RecRegister. Registration on the day of the race is $20 per person. After you have registered, race day check in will be from 8:00 AM to 8:45am at Legends.
Courses
- 2 Mile Walk - All ages (children under 13 do not need to register, but they will not get a shirt)
- 3 Mile Run - Ages 13 and over
- 6 Mile Run - Ages 13 and over

- Student (Undergrad & Grad) - Notre Dame, St. Mary's, HCC Only
- Faculty/Staff - Notre Dame, St. Mary's, HCC Only
- Non-ND ages 13-17
- Non-ND ages 18-39
- Non-ND ages 40+
Volunteers
The Domer Run can not be a success without the help of all our wonderful volunteers. We need volunteers for all sorts of tasks, from pointing runners in the right direction to cheering them on as they cross the finish line.
