Media Outlet Requests

All media outlets looking to interview, film, etc. any aspect of RecSports should contact Veronica Ballinger, the Assistant Director for Communication and Engagement, at vballinger@nd.edu. Requests should be emailed for review at least 5 business days in advance. Requests will be reviewed by RecSports staff and are not guaranteed approval.

Student Organization and Class Projects 

Students requesting approval for photography/videography/interviews in RecSports spaces or during RecSports programs should submit a Marketing Request Form. Questions? Please email Veronica Ballinger at vballinger@nd.edu. Allow 5 business days for the review of your marketing request form. Requests are reviewed by RecSports staff and are not guaranteed approval.

Bulletin Boards and Digital Advertisement

RecSports only accepts print materials from approved University of Notre Dame, Holy Cross College, and St. Mary’s College entities including: Departments, Divisions, and Student Organizations. **Only two print pieces will be accepted and posted upon approval.**

In order to submit a print piece for approval:

  1. Visit the Rockne Memorial Front Desk and complete the "Request to post on bulletin boards form." 
  2. Attach 1-2 copies of the flyer to the form.
  3. RecSports will review the piece and approve/deny the request.
  4. The materials will be placed in the facility upon approval.

As of January 2018, print pieces will not be accepted at the Smith Center for Recreational Sports and may only be submitted for use at Rockne Memorial. However, you may submit a 1500 x 1038 png file for advertisement on Smith Center cardio machines. You can submit a digital flyer for consideration using the Marketing Request Form.

RecSports recommends submitting pieces at least 14 days in advance of the event date and/or registration close date in order to ensure the signage is up for a reasonable amount of time. Questions? Email Veronica Ballinger at vballinger@nd.edu for more info.
