June/July 2019: Cassie Joynes

Corienne G Eom August 2019 500x300

"I would like to nominate Cassie Joynes for the MOST Outstanding Student Employee of the Month. Cassie juggled many different projects and leadership opportunities on campus for the entire summer, and she did an exceptional job managing her responsibilities as a lifeguard. She stepped up to help staff Rockne Memorial at the front desk on multiple occasions, and she handled large groups, injuries, and staffing issues at the beach with a cool and collected mentality. Her coworkers have even mentioned her ability to manage stressful situations with ease. She sets a great example for the entire team, and her peers have even noted that she has been an amazing asset to the staff this summer. Cassie's positive attitude is contagious, and she has been a reliable teammate during the entirety of St. Joseph Beach's operating season."
