Media Outlet Requests

All media outlets looking to interview, film, etc. any aspect of RecSports should contact Veronica Ballinger, the Assistant Director for Communication and Engagement, at vballinger@nd.edu. Requests should be emailed for review at least 10 business days in advance. Requests will be reviewed by RecSports staff and are not guaranteed approval.

Student Organization and Class Projects 

Students requesting approval to conduct academic research, photography/videography/interviews in RecSports spaces, or any of the aforementioned during RecSports programs should seek approval by reaching out to Veronica Ballinger, Assistant Director for Communication and Engagement.

RecSports will address inquiries on a first-come, first-served basis. For academic projects, RecSports can support one each semester. To best help, RecSports requires requests for academic project assistance to be received no later than 1 week after the mid-term break (fall semester: fall break; spring semester: spring break).

Advertising in RecSports Spaces

To keep our spaces focused on student life and wellness, we only display promotions for RecSports offerings and Division of Student Affairs programs. RecSports does not allow physical flyers or outside advertisements (digital or print) in our facilities. We also do not permit tabling or marketing activations, nor do we accept promotional goods or services for distribution in RecSports facilities or during RecSports programs.

Do you want RecSports to come to your club meeting or class?

If you are interested in having a representative attend a tabling event, a club meeting, a class, or another campus gathering to discuss our offerings and what we do, please email Veronica Ballinger at vballinger@nd.edu. We ask that you reach out at least 10 business days in advance and include dates, times, and locations in your inquiry.
