The Equestrian Club is a co-ed undergraduate club, with members of all riding abilities. There are two levels of membership: team and club. Team members compete in events throughout Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, while club members ride weekly but do not compete. The club practices at Lucky Horse Equestrian Center, located 20 miles from campus in the town of Niles, MI, with a local coach, Kerry Hilgendorf. The club offers weekly lessons during the semester to riders of all levels, from beginner to advanced. The team competes with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association in Zone 7, Region 4. They have won many regular season honors and are consistently in the top teams for the region. For the 2019-2020 season, the team became the Zone 7 Region 4 Champions! Additionally, riders have qualified for all postseason levels of competition, at Regionals, Zones and Nationals.
