Men's Ice Hockey

We are the Notre Dame ACHA DIII Men’s Ice Hockey team. Founded in 2012, we have grown each year into a premier Club Hockey team. With experienced, local coaching, we have a high-caliber program, which has developed players to make Notre Dame’s NCAA DI program, including Joe Aiken (’15), Nick Stasack (’16), and Peter Mark (’18) The season begins in early September and typically ends in late February. Competing as an independent team, we have the ability to play against many other competitive programs and tailor our schedule to reflect traditional Notre Dame rivalries.
All home games are played at the beautiful Compton Family Ice Arena, and we typically practice twice a week here. In the 2018-2019 season, ND Men’s Club Hockey finished 12th in the North region, which is the most competitive region for ACHA DIII hockey. In 2019 – 2020, we have playoff aspirations as we look to continue to build upon last year’s success, hoping to attend Regionals for the first time in program history. For the 2019-2020 season, we have a highly competitive schedule with games against schools like Vanderbilt University at the Scholars Shootout Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee and games against regional teams like the University of Michigan and Michigan State.
