The women's club soccer team had their first home game of the season this past Saturday on McGlinn fields against Bradley University. The Irish had an unfortunate call in the 2nd minute which awarded Bradley a PK. Despite a great effort from junior goalkeeper Caroline Corsones, Bradley was up 1-0 early. Sunday September 21st saw two titans of the Club Soccer Central division go head to head. The University of Notre Dame took on a strong and technical Michigan State team that are two years removed national champions. The match took place on a soggy day, with a slick pitch that forced the play into a blistering pace.
The women's club soccer team traveled to the University of Illinois this Saturday for 2 games. Their first game was against Illinois, who came out strong and found a goal early in the first half despite a strong defensive line and a great performance by sophomore goalkeeper Kiley Adams.

Early on Sunday morning, the Notre Dame Men’s Club Soccer team departed to Michigan to partake in their second and third games of the season. The Notre Dame Men’s Club Soccer team played Purdue at home on Sunday. On a day that was supposed to be a double header for the Irish against Purdue and Michigan, the Irish were able to narrow their focus to Purdue after Michigan declared they would be unable to make the trip to South Bend.
Notre Dame Men’s cyclist Jim Snitzer (Jr) captured USA Cycling Academic All-Star honors when USA Cycling announced its 2014 team today. Described as an award seeking to recognize “those that go above and beyond by achieving top grades in the classroom while also competing at USA Cycling Collegiate National Championships”, Snitzer was one of 41 riders selected from 22 different schools. In order to achieve Academic All-Star status, an athlete must have attended a USA Collegiate Cycling National Championship in the specified term for that honor and have maintained a 3.5 or higher GPA for the semester during which the nationals event falls.…
The Irish looked to take on the MWCCC once again in a single day criterium event hosted by Ripon College in Wisconsin. The course was tremendously challenging, featuring a couple kicker hills and a sweeping fast descent...
The Club Golf team played this weekend in the first spring Great Lakes Divisional Tournament at the University of Illinois golf course. ND did well overall placing third and fourth for the A and B teams respectively. The club had three players place individually with Will Murphy in third, Brian Miller in fourth, and Wes Greene in eighth.

The Lindenwood Race Weekend featured two days of hard racing. Saturday featured a 13 mile team time trial and a road race with 3 major climbs and 1,700ft of elevation gain per 21-mile lap.
