From free services to campus running and walking routes, to walking and biking clubs, RecSports Fitness offers something for everyone. With an emphasis on fun, we provide a wide spectrum of programming specially geared to enhance the mind, body, and spirit with the Notre Dame community in mind.
With our RecSports free services, patrons can have their body composition or blood pressure measured by a RecSports fitness professional at no charge. Contact RecSports to schedule an appointment. We also offer consultations and equipment orientations for free. Fitness professionals are always available to meet with you to discuss general health and fitness topics.
Throughout the academic year, RecSports hosts several blood drives with South Bend Medical Foundation at the Smith Center for Recreational Sports in the Duncan Student Center. Donations help support our local community's blood supply. Approximately 200 patients in St. Joseph County alone use blood and blood products each week. These donations help patients heal and recover and save lives!

WalkND is the University of Notre Dame’s free official walking club. Take your first step on the path to good health and learn more about the benefits of a regular walking routine. Turning walking into part of a daily ritual, coupled with a nutritious diet, can reduce the risk of conditions such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and osteoporosis. Keep track of your steps and activities by using one of our free pedometers and log books. Members can look forward to giveaways, motivating emails and useful information to help keep you moving and feeling great.
BikeND is the University of Notre Dame's non-competitive, health and fitness oriented biking club. It should not be confused with the Club Sports Cycling Club. BikeND is free and open to the entire campus. Change up your daily routine and learn about the benefits of biking to campus. Take your first ride on the path to good health and learn more about the benefits of biking to campus. Members of the biking club can look forward to giveaways, motivating emails, and useful information to help keep you moving and feeling great.
