The women's club soccer team had their first home game of the season this past Saturday on McGlinn fields against Bradley University. The Irish had an unfortunate call in the 2nd minute which awarded Bradley a PK. Despite a great effort from junior goalkeeper Caroline Corsones, Bradley was up 1-0 early. Sunday September 21st saw two titans of the Club Soccer Central division go head to head. The University of Notre Dame took on a strong and technical Michigan State team that are two years removed national champions. The match took place on a soggy day, with a slick pitch that forced the play into a blistering pace.
The women's club soccer team traveled to the University of Illinois this Saturday for 2 games. Their first game was against Illinois, who came out strong and found a goal early in the first half despite a strong defensive line and a great performance by sophomore goalkeeper Kiley Adams.

The Notre Dame Men’s Club Soccer team played Purdue at home on Sunday. On a day that was supposed to be a double header for the Irish against Purdue and Michigan, the Irish were able to narrow their focus to Purdue after Michigan declared they would be unable to make the trip to South Bend.
