This weekend the the bowling club competed at the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Championship in Addison, IL. The tournament consisted of 6 team games on the first day and 16 Baker games on the second day. 63 men's varsity teams attended. The pattern was challenging from the start but Steven Brill still managed to bowl a 203. The team peaked with a total of 795 during the second game. As the lanes dried up in the middle of the day the team struggled, but the Irish managed to score 761 in the last game to end with 4319 total for the day. Steven Brill ended the day with a team high average of 175. At the tournament, freshman, Victor Luna, made his Notre Dame bowling debut and shined with many strikes during the Baker games. During the Baker games, the team struggled to maintain consistent shots but still managed a few games in the 170s and a high game of 191. At the end of the day, the team finished in 62nd place with a total pinfall of 6741.
