RecSports to have modified hours for Easter Holiday
RecSports facilities will operate under modified hours for the Easter Holiday. Additionally, no F.A.S.T. Classes or Instructional Series will be held on April 14. No Group Fitness Classes will be held April 14 – 17.
RecSports to host YogaFit Level 1: Foundations
RecSports is hosting a national yoga certification in partnership with YogaFit on April 22 – 23, 2017 YogaFit Level 1: Foundations provides the tools to create inspiring vinyasa yoga classes grounded in proper alignment and the safety of exercise science. Click here for more info and to register.
Basketball Championships set for March 9 in Purcell Pavilion
RecSports has its own March Madness! Head on over to Purcell Pavillion on Thursday, March 9 to check out Intramural Basketball Championships! Admission is free for all games.

RSRC 3rd Floor Stretching Area & Activity Room closure on Feb. 7
The 3rd floor stretching area and Activity Rooms 1 & 2 in the RSRC will be closed from 5:00 – 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7 for an Assistant Rector Meet & Greet. Additionally, the following classes will not meet on Tuesday, February 7 due to the Assistant Rector Meet & Greet that will be held in RSRC AR 1 & 2 that night: Cardio Kickboxing from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. // Barre from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. // Tabata from 6:45 – 7:15 p.m. // Cardio Step from 6:45 – 7:45 p.m.

It's swim time! Give the gift of swim lessons this Holiday season! Registration for Spring 2017 Session 1 Swim Lesson begins on January 9 at 9:00 a.m. for ND faculty, staff, students, and spouses. Registration begins on January 16 at 9:00 a.m. for public. Click here for more info.

Be sure to check out our facility hours for Rolfs Sports Recreation Center and Rockne Memorial before heading to campus for your workout! RSRC will be closed Dec. 23 - Jan. 2, but Rockne Memorial will have various hours during this time frame. Click here to see Winter Break hours.
Last chance! Tackle football equipment return - Tuesday, Nov. 29
Those Interhall football players looking to return their equipment will need to do so on Wednesday, November 9 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Rockne Memorial. Equipment will not be accepted at Rolfs Sports Recreation Center, or any other location besides Rockne Memorial.

Notre Dame alum Nick Civetta ('11) has been named on to a travel squad of 38 players for the three-match November Tour kicking off this Friday, November 4 at "The Rugby Weekend Presented by AIG" in Chicago.
Ricci Family Fields construction update: Riehle Fields and sand volleyball courts adjacent to Stepan Center under construction and unavailable for use
In order for construction of the three synthetic turf fields, support building, and sand volleyball courts that are scheduled to be completed by the Summer of 2017, Riehle Fields 1, 2, 3, & 4, in addition to the sand volleyball courts adjacent to Stepan Center are currently under construction and unavailable for use.
Longtime Irish Boxing Tutor Loses Final Bout
In a sad and cruel bit of irony, the man who coached and mentored men’s and women’s boxers for a half-century at the University of Notre Dame as part of its club boxing programs lost his own final health fight. Tom Suddes died Monday after a two-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was 67.
Br. Louis Hurcik, C.S.C. passes away at 83
Br. Louis Hurcik, C.S.C., a member of the University Health Services staff and longtime University instructor and former Director of Rockne Memorial, passed away on Sept. 23.

Biathlon Cancelled Due to Flooding
Due to recent flooding, the 2016 Biathlon has been cancelled. There are tentative plans to reschedule this event for spring semester.
