About the Notre Dame Women's Golf League
The Notre Dame Women’s Golf League, now in its 46th season, is open to Notre Dame employees and retirees, as well as spouses of Notre Dame employees and retirees. The League is for women who enjoy playing golf, meeting other women with a connection to campus, having fun, and possibly even winning prizes!
2019 League schedule
The League plays on Tuesday evenings at the nine hole Burke Golf Course between 4:00 p.m. and 5:44 p.m. All members must tee off during these times in order for their scores to count. There are weekly contests in each flight, as well as prizes for pars, birdies, and chip-ins. Players may play with any other league member(s) and are not in assigned teams or groups. In fact, the League encourages members to play with different women each week.
The regular season runs from May 21 through July 30, with the final tournament and banquet scheduled for August 6.
The golf league kickoff meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2019. More information will be available soon.
Cost
Annual dues for all members are $25. Weekly greens fees are $9, payable at the starter’s house prior to tee-off. League members who are retirees or spouses of retirees are not required to pay greens fees.
