Starting May 11, the Rockne Memorial Building will temporarily close its doors for the summer to undergo essential maintenance and updates. This decision is part of a proactive effort to ensure the safety and functionality of the building and the pools. From structural enhancements to safety updates, this summer's work promises to preserve the building's legacy while catering to the evolving needs of students, faculty, staff, and retirees. While the closure may be inconvenient, the anticipated improvements are important to keep the Rockne Memorial Building a safe and functional recreational space for the Notre Dame community. We are so thankful for your patience and understanding.

The Smith Center for Recreational Sports will be available for your recreational needs this summer, and the Rolfs Aquatics Center (managed by the Department of Athletics) will have open swim hours starting after graduation.
