Jarin Bontrager

Biography

Jarin joined the RecSports team in July of 2024 as a Sport Programs Coordinator. Originally from Goshen, Indiana, he is well aware of the adventures of South Bend weather and the deep culture of Notre Dame Football. Jarin holds an M.S. in Sport Management from Indiana State University and a B.S. in Sport Marketing and Management from Indiana University. He is a true Hoosier through and through—one of those stereotypical IU Basketball and Notre Dame Football fans—who has IU Basketball season tickets. When he is not at work in one of the RecSports facilities, you might find Jarin out officiating high school basketball around Michiana, trying new foods, traveling, or spending time with family and friends.
