Do Students Pay for Interhall Sports?

The cost for registered Interhall teams is covered by the hall. All students looking to create an Interhall team are encouraged to speak with their rector before creating their team.

Students may see a $1 charge or may show up as “Unpaid” on IMLeagues when they join an Interhall team. Students are NOT required to pay this fee, and the $1 charge will go away once that student has been approved by their rector via the Rector Approval Form. Students who continue to show up as “Unpaid” on IMLeagues should speak with their captain regarding their names being submitted for approval via their respective Rector Approval Form.

What Are Interhall Athletic Commissioners?

Athletic Commissioners are appointed by each individual hall and are a vital part of their hall’s participation within RecSports. Athletic Commissioners help to distribute information about upcoming registrations and help to create teams for their respective halls. RecSports will contact Athletic Commissioners with information regarding upcoming tournaments, league registrations, fitness opportunities, educational opportunities, special events and various other kinds of information. To stay up-to-date on what’s going on within Intramural Sports and RecSports, please contact your Athletic Commissioner for your respective hall.

What Are Interhall Cup Championships?

Throughout each academic year, halls compete through different Intramural Sport offerings for the Kelly Cup (Women's) and O’Leary Cup (Men's). Halls earn points towards their overall standings through registering teams and their performance throughout the regular season and playoffs for each sport they participate in.
